UK-based producer, singer-songwriter Andy Gannon’s latest project is alt-pop band Bad Love and their debut single, “More Than Friends“ is here just in time for Valentine’s Day 2020; fitting for lovelorn losers and all the lovers.
Bad Love goes through all the motions in this banger of a debut; a lonely lover pining for their ex after a breakup, reminiscing on good times and not being content as friends, hoping to rekindle that romance and even becoming desperate and jealous of their ex’s new lover.
When you hear the dramatic and brooding More Than Friends, it’s easy to picture in a typical teen romance flick or even as a lovers sequence on the small screen. We are looking forward to see the music video for this anthemic alt pop masterpiece, which is set to be released in a few weeks!
Until then, you can catch Bad Love’s debut live performance supporting Paris Youth Foundation at Manchester Off the Square Thursday, February 20th. Advance tickets here!
Gannon formed the band with pals Sam Fieldhouse, Tommy O’Neill and Ben Tansey at the end of 2019 in Stoke-on-Trent and they are planning an EP release later this year. Be sure to keep up with them on social media so you don’t miss more sadboy tunes or shows leading up to the full EP!
